Training
RCRS offers basic and advanced courses in Good
Clinical Practice. These courses focus on the
responsibilities of sponsors, investigators,
EC personnel and other clinical trial players
towards ensuring the safety, rights and well
being of study participants and the integrity
of the study data.
RCRS also offers a training program called the
Young Clinical Research Professionals Program
(YCPP), under the aegis of Reliance School of
Life Sciences, for recent graduates in pharmacy,
life sciences, or medicine interested in pursuing
a career in clinical research. The one year
program covers the entire spectrum of drug development
and clinical research from drug discovery, medical
monitoring, regulation, operations, quality
assurance, biostatics, data management, project
management to soft skill development. The program
includes approximately 400 hours of dynamic
classroom training to about 50 select candidates
followed by on-the-job training at our facility
and study sites.
Faculty for the course includes senior officials
from RCRS, with a rich experience in the clinical
research industry. Distinguished speakers from
the clinical research industry worldwide are
also invited to share their experiences with
the participants.
Regulatory requirements and current industry
standards in a particular area form the backbone
of any training program in that specific area.
The courses are customized first to suit the
business practice objectives of the organization
while catering to individual requirements based
on course expectation matrices. The courses
are developed as interactive modules that enable
the participants to provide feedback in relation
to effective implementation of the training
in their workplaces.
RCRS also specializes in 'Train the Trainer'
programs that aim to equip training staff in
the niceties of training in product development.
